We are enjoying all the varieties of spring weather from clear hot sunny days to ice cold rain today. Because it was cold and rainy we went to a lovely lunch for Colin's birthday in a little ristorante in Assisi. €16 each for an entree (primi) a main (secondi) and a side (can't remember what that's called). I had homemade gnocchi with wild boar and peppercorn sauce followed by veal with walnuts and rocket with salad. Colin had truffle and mushroom stroganoff followed by roast pork and roast potatoes. We had a 1/2 litter carafe of red wine and tiramisu to finish. Delicious. Sorry to hear about poor Reuben's cold hope he gets better soon.
